The menthol is pretty good too, but I haven't smoked menthols since I was 15.
By far the best thing about the Blu Cigarette is that it's actually helped me get off cigarettes. And it's far, far, far cheaper than spending $150 a month on real cigarettes. With the other electronic cigarettes I've tried, I'd still get intense cravings for that real -- and really unhealthy -- smoke. But now when I get a nicotine craving, it's for my Blu Cig, not the normal cancer stick.
It's taken a while for the nicotine vaporizer to mature, but I think the Blu Cigarette is the first real alternative to smoking cigarettes.

just got done talking with a representative from the website on blu e cigs.
The issue I had was this… I bought a Blu Starter Kit from Walgeens, like the one featured here. And after one day of use, the light at the tip of both ecigs included in the package started flashing – constantly. They told me this was from overuse – that I should take a break from using the ecigs. The reason that makes no sense, is because I’ll go literally over 8 hours without using it at all. Then I use it once – one time, and it flashes at me. It does this with BOTH e cigs… Furthermore, they don’t do refunds, just exchanges. Imagine lighting a cigarette, and having someone right next to you telling you, “Don’t you think you’ve had enough? Don’t you think you’ve had enough? Don’t you think you’ve had enough?”… Over, and over again… And imagine this happening during the first cigarette of your day. This is what smoking blu ecigs feels like. This seems to be a common problem with this product. I don’t recommend buying blu e cigarettes. They have made a defective product. Buy different ecigs from another company, because blu is all hype, and no quality.

You order it, they charge you, then you will get the run-around from their customer service who will claim that the item has been shipped. I’ve had my Blu-cig for about 3 weeks now… Best health investment I’ve ever made. I was having the vapor issues as well 2 or 3 puffs then no vap to very little and the same with the throat hit. While reading some of the other reviews I decided to take the cartridge off and stir up the ejuice with an opened paper clip….poped it back on and VIOLA!! works just dandy now… i think the atomizer doesnt puncture the foil enough in the cartridge to allow for a good vapor. Try it!!!!

To all you naysayers, before you go ranting about a product horribly, learning how to use it properly will save you time, frustration, and embarrassment. (Mainly embarrassment from yourself because really nobody on the internet is going to know the random idiot on the website is. )
Blu is a Great e-cig and gives off a TON of vapor, and i did not even get the “premium” model. Just your regular ole’ basic starter kit. I too at first thought it didn’t give much vapor, nor did it give that “hit” in the lungs…Until of course i did some friggin’ research knowing that I’m relatively new to this scene and I could be doing something wrong. ALL E-cigs are not created equal.
Trick to Blu is taking SLOW LONG DRAGS approx 3-5 secs. Try that first and then try to bitch about the vapor production and lung hit. And to the moron that said you get 20 puffs…Come on dude, Exaggerate much? I haven’t stopped to count puff by puff but i use each cartridge about a day and a half. Not bad for a pack a day smoker.
Oh and my battery lasts me about 3 hours a light-regular use. BTW and then I do as the product intends for me to do, which is….drum roll… swap out dead battery #1 for the fully charged Battery #2 in my pack and begin the charge on battery #1. This a pretty simple scenario unfolding here, I bet you can even play that scene in your head if you try hard enough 20 puff guy and others ;o)
It kills me when people who have no idea of what they’re talking about jump online and provide inaccurate information to the masses. Try not to forget this stuff is accessed globally and dumb @ss comments are not helping normal people.
I just got my starter pack 2 1/2 weeks ago, and I’m in love with this thing. The only issue I’ve genuinely experienced outside of not knowing how to use it properly at first is my Blu charging pack was defective, and not properly charging the batteries on the go. A simple exchange at the service station that I purchased it from and voila!!!!! 1 HAPPY VAPING CUSTOMER.

Not only has it improved the quality of health in fact you don’t have to worry about the people around you because they don’t get bothered as all what released are vapors. Secondly you can smoke anywhere in pubs, restaurants, in office or at homes. E-cigarette gave you confidence to smoke everywhere without hesitation of tobacco smell. I suggest trying J&J product they manufacture their product in London and delivered in different countries according to customers demand.

I had the original blu starter kit about 2 years ago. At the time, I didn’t know of any alternative options. I only used it for about a month. I found that the atomizer did a poor job and the cartridges seemed to run out of juice SUPER fast. All in all I was not impressed. A few weeks ago, I had been out drinking with friends, and in my drunken stupor I bought a starter kit from a local Sheetz gas station. In the morning I woke up to find the starter kit sitting on my desk, opened. I was a little aggravated with myself because I could not return it now. I figured since I paid for it, I would use it until it crapped out like the last one. That is when I noticed the change!
They have a ‘new’ starter kit that is a definite upgrade from the one I had two years ago. The atomizer is now inside each cartridge and they also seem to have a LOT more juice than they used to. I am completely satisfied with the new design and would recommend it to friends.
The original, not so hot. The new one is awesome in my opinion.

I love Blu Cigs! I’ve been vaping for about 6 months now and have tried 3 different brands based on reviews and word of mouth. I have never smoked analogs, so my viewpoint is vastly different from mo I am a bit ofst other reviewers. That being said, I prefer Blu Cigs over both premium and njoy. I am a bit of a control freak though, so I have a feeling I will get into another system with far greater options in the near future. Until then I will be sitting happy puffing on my Blu.

Awesome marketing – horrible product. Carts last about 15 to 20 puffs. No throat hit, weak vapor, batteries discharge quickly (well, they’re only rated at 90 mAh, to be fair). Basically, a toy compared to something more substantially built, like the 808 based V2 Cig.
I should have paid more attention to the negative reviews. Anyone giving positive reviews to this product have never tried another reputable brand of e-cig, or didn’t smoke a pack a day like I did. Go try a V2, or a 510 and then see how it stacks up.
I sure do like the Portable Charging Case though. Too bad Blu didn’t put a little more effort into what goes inside the case.

I work for blucig, and every month I get my paycheck, I chuckle at what you suckers are doing to yourselves. The irony is that you could smoke a real cigarette and be putting LESS chemicals into your lungs. Do you KNOW what we put in that liquid? Hahahahahaha. I do not know why people have been rating this product so highly. After receiving my product today, I almost instantly realized that the quality of the product should be graded “poor, at best”. I purchased the Orig. started kit, and eight different packs of cartridges. Not only did my cigarette(s) refuse to hold a charge, but the cartridges were lacking in flavor, strength and SMOKE! After only a few puffs (no were near the stated “220″), my cartridge was dead. Also, because the flavor was so weak, I was forced to take longer puffs, which produced an almost unbearably hot tip (where I smoke from) on the cigarette. After calling customer assistance, they informed me that I may not be smoking the BLUcig correctly. Being of sound mind and body, and a competent person, it was insulting to be told that maybe I just didn’t know what I was doing. Overall, this product is faulty, and does not deserve the “star” ratings it has been given. If you feel like giving BLU your money (because they won’t return your money for the faulty cartridges they send you), go for it.

Oh…Im not a competitor as the one post says we almost certainly are. It only took ten days to get the product. As for the ban, They still sell regular cigarettes so I dont see them going anywhere. As long as they arent sold as a stop smoking device, I dont see the problem.

Okay. the concept of it is cool. I love the cigarette pack that charges the battery. I love that they are small and come in black. I love the amount of smoke.
BUT..I usually smoke njoy…and the menthol hit isnt nearly as good as njoy. When you first inhale on njoy and you hear the atomizer kick in and taste the first drag, it is wonderful. Im addicted to it. Blu cigarette menthol blast, tastes more like vanilla extract than menthol. It gave me a headache. I didnt feel that “hit” in my lungs like njoy gives me. I ordered blu with such high hopes. The refills are cheaper than jnoy and I have to drive to the mall to get njoy so I thought why not. not to mention that kewl little cigarette pack blu has…..but no…im off to the mall tomorrow and the post office to return my blu. it does come with a 30 day money back. we will see how quickly they refund me.

Ok ok ok, I was going to write a long review on blu but I wanted to save that for my site and simply say the amount of people hating on the product, simply because they are the largest and best by far and I’m pretty sure most of the reviews are from the competition desperately nipping at blu’s heals. Hands down they are the best, its just not a competition if you want the best product with the best support, taste and overall experience. Made in the USA juice which is soooo important!

It’s awesome when it works. However, i am getting a 40% success rate on dragging. I never know when I’m going to get a real ‘puff’ or just exercise my lungs like a blowfish trying to get something. As another poster said, there is no consistency….never know when I’ll get a real puff or just a poseur.

I literally got my Blu E cigarette in the mail one hour ago. I have tried other E cigarettes and was curious to “sample” the market. Without a doubt, Blu is the WORST one i have ever tried.
I am a huge fan of the Smoke Fifty One DUO and TRIO. I do not work for the company or any other E cigarette company for that matter. Comparing the two, the only thing that Blu is better with is more realistic size and the recharging pack. The fun ends there people.
The people that reviewed this product as excellent and the best thing ever probably have never tried any other e cigarette. It IS way better tasting than a normal cigarette, but everyone can agree that normal cigarettes are nasty until you get used to them.
Dont be fooled by the “good” reviews. This product is not worth the money or even worth receiving as a gift. After writing this, I will be contacting Blu to return the product immediately.
In addition, I guess it is only fair to write that the only flavor i tried was the Menthol one, which does not taste like menthol at all. More of an expired peppermint mouthwash taste is the best way to describe it.
I really wasnt expecting much from this product considering i noticed it on a pop up and i basically got what i thought i was going to get…disappointed.
Once again, DO NOT buy this product. Waste of time, money, and nicotine.

It took about a week to get here but free shipping so im ok with it. for those who say 20 puffs is all u get. I don’t have that problem. I smoked a pack a day of full flavor cigs. Ive had the blu for 2 days now and im still on the first cartridge. The throat hit is a little hit or miss. However i havent smoked an analog since i got the blu. And it does well enough for me to out do the nicotene gum or the patch which i would still smoke regular cigs with. And im in it for the health benifits for me and my pregnant fiance. so i think this is the best thing ive seen for nicotene replacement.

I purchased my first BluCigs starter kit and I have not smoked a single analog (regular) cigarette ever since. With my BluCigs starter kit i chose the Full Flavor option for the Classic Tobacco cartomizers they offer. First off, i received my starter kit in 4 business days. The starter kit was shipped to me from North Carolina and I live in California (very fast shipping). As far as the taste, at first it was a little too strong for me but I changed the way i inhale because the amount of nicotine was really doing the job for me. I give BluCigs a 9.5 out of 10. The only reason i give them a 9.5 instead of a 10 is because the instructions in their starter kits are outdates compared to the products and cartomizers, otherwise I would give them a 10!
I highly recommend BluCigs, I used to smoke about 30 cigarettes a day for 11 years and now I don’t smoke anything but BluCigs!

I ordered from BLUE e cigarette. Not impressed. While waiting for Blue to deliver what I ordered (which was about 35 days) I ordered from Volcano since reviews said they shipped fast and I wanted to quit smoking ASAP. So Volcano e cigs arrived within a week (seriously, I ordered on a monday and they showed up the next Monday, I was shocked). The flavor was surprisingly really darn good (I ordered the Cherry). So I used Volcano (which is essentially the exact same thing as blue e cigs) until my Blue package came. The flavores with blue really weren’t good. There is a really strong chemical taste and hardly any flavor to them at all. I have yet to get to more flavors other than Vanilla and Cherry but both taste the exact same… chemically and no cherry or vanilla flavor to be found. I am ordereing my ejuice from Volvano cause the Cherry flavor is itself addictive. It tasted like a sucker, with all the sweet flavors of a cherry sucker. I was sad when the cartridges ran out. I am ordering more today.

ok, after one week, I’m using it more and more. Still using analogs but I must say that after the initial bad taste that I had encountered (see my previous review) I am getting a better taste. Maybe the full flavored high nicotine was too high or the first blasts were too much.
Overall impression is that this is a very good product price/value. The recharging works like a charm. Very easy to setup and use. I carry the case everywhere now.

I keep working on these things, but success is elusive. The design and marketing of this product is really top notch. Very classy and the quality seems solid. Unfortunately, the glitz and glam of the product design doesn’t carry over to the actual product. Think Blu e-cigs are going to be a good experience? Well, only if you enjoy sucking on a plastic tube with an occasional bitter taste. To be fair, when you install a new cartridge, you will get a few flavor puffs out of it; maybe even a half dozen. But that’s it. A few puffs and the thing is done. Too bad this product doesn’t work as “good” as it looks. Save your money, folks.

I received my starter kit with the Tobacco Full Flavored (highest concentration)and it tastes horrible. The kit came in 4 days-standard shipping. The started kit is a breeze to set up and the vapor is good, although I still cough if I inhale too much. Had to pull o so lightly to not choke. Weird taste. Maybe I should try a flavor with less nicotine or stay with the tobacco and less nicotene? I am a Marl light 100 smoker. Any suggestions would help.

I waited almost a month to receive my starter kit (26 days) and it’s no better than the starter kit I bought at 7-11 for $20. Just get a Green Smoke, sure it costs a little bit more but it will save you more money in long run and trouble because other junk products keep breaking or taste like garbage.

I was excited initially when I received this product, which by the way was sent pony express. It took 8 days to receive it and it was ordered on a Monday. The appearance is nice enough but thats all the [positive i can say about it. The site claims that each cartridge represents 7 cigarettes or 80-100 tokes. I found that I was lucky to get 15 to 20 decent drags out of one. They also claim that a charge to the battery should be good for 2 cartridges and it barely covered one, and thats at only 20 tokes, not the 80 claimed. The batteries mysteriously charge up to full in about 20 minutes when the site says it should take around 2 hours. The smoking experience when it does work is awesome but the lack of longevity of the cartridges dictated that I sent it back for a refund. This was one of the cheapest ones that I found and you get what you pay for. I searched further and looked at reviews for other brands that appear to be of a higher quality and went with that one. I dont know if mine was defective or what but the shipping and experience spoiled the company for me.

Bought this for my Mom for Christmas. She didn’t use it very long. Said it was not consistent with the nicotine/flavor. Also, their customer service lacks. I emailed for an instruction manual – they responded saying I would get one but it never came.

I got my blu e-cig starter kit yesterday, and i have to say im pretty impressed with the product. The vanilla cartridge doesnt have much of a throat hit, however the Classic Tobacco and the Menthol do. I haven’t tried Cherry Crush or Java Jolt yet. I’ve been smoking for years, and my first thought when i took my first drag off of these was that it wasn’t intense enough. I realized though that it doesnt have any of the carcinogens to MAKE it harsh. This morning i smoked a real cigarette (Pall Mall Light), and i didn’t enjoy it. Blu cigs make it possible to just smoke when you want, where you want, without the smell. I’m pretty pleased with this product. Although, the vapor production is somewhat lacking, but i took advice from a few other commenters and its working better now. I would highly recommend these to anyone who is trying to save money, or looking to smoke anywhere, with no smell.

Junk! waste of time waiting for it and it is terrible. I have another brand that works phenomenal but wanted the carry case and extra battery and all the gadgets for when I’m not home. The people are right about the shipping company, it took 6 days to get 72 miles to my house. AFTER I already had it I had to send everything back because the batts only lasted maybe 5-10 mins and only got about 1-2 good pulls then nothing. Then took 2 weeks to get back to me including the 72 mile 6 day wait. Not worth the advertising. The only way I can get it to work is to drip and my other one that is the similar micro lasts half a day on one battery. SO I’m just going to spend the money and get extra batts and carry case for my greensmoke because it’s the only one I can and like to use. I got so frustrated trying to get a hit off the blu..I had to bum a smoke of my neighbor.

I purchased Blu and received it 5 days later. Very happy with the product the first two weeks, though I had to call support twice. I followed the advice of the support person, which did work for a few days. The second pack of cartridges were almost impossible to take a draw from, the cartidges not only leaked but ran into my mouth burning my tongue, the cartridge interior would stick to the atomizer, and the batteries held their charge less and less. Yesterday the batteries held their charge for only 10-15 puffs. I am sending them back today, before the 30 days end. They said I could return some of the parts and they would replace them, but I am trying to quit smoking and did not want to return to regular cigarettes. This is a poor quality product in my opinion.

Update: The Blu finally arrived one the ninth day after my order. After unpackaging the product and charging the batteries I opened a pack of cartridges and assembled my E-cig… After so much waiting and anticipation I was very excited to try this product. What did I get… nothing… no vapor, and I mean none, no throat hit, no satisfaction. What did I get? A huge mouth full of “Java” flavored e-liquid. Disgusting. I removed the cart, removed the foil the atty had pushed down into the cart’s poly and reassembled. Still, no vape, no satisfaction. After trying the NJOY I knew I should not have to trouble shoot a new e-cig direct from the box. So I went online and ordered an EGO (Awesome product by the way). It arrived in three days. One of those days being Sunday. I then filled out the RMA to return my blue, went to the post office and sent my Blu out for a refund. The Blu customer service team was very apologetic for my trouble but offered no solution to my problems. Sorry guys, in more ways than one you put a bad taste in my mouth.
So 48 hours in with my EGO from James @ DFW and I am smoke free. Hope noone else gets taken on this horrible product.

Received my Blu just 8 days after ordering, and do I really like it! haven’t had a cancerstick since – and even better – I don’t miss them at all. My Blu satisfies all my cravings. Simple and easy to understand instructions. I had recently tried a Prado – but they sucker you in to a long term commitment with hidden charges – and frankly – I am trying to get out of a long term commitment, and the Blu is making it so very much easier.

Okay I have not received my Blu yet, but like most people I ordered based on the original reviews I saw from people who were promoting the Blu to make a profit. It has been 8 days and I still have not received my package. Interesting that the Greenboro, NC Shipping company is only 250 miles from me. Yet instead of delivering direct they took my Blu from Greensboro all the way up to Shrewsbury Massachusetts (550 miles from me). Who in the world is running their logistics dept. Blu says “That MAY be where the closest transfer center is”. See they use a 3d party shipping company whose inefficient shipping methods just cost them yet another customer. I have a grand idea JUST USE USPS GROUND! Save time, not sure if it saves $$, but it would definitely save customers.My package would have been here already.
When I told Blu they do not have a satisfied customer and I would not be re-ordering based on the service I had recieved thus far. They said… “Thank you and have a nice day.” Literally that is exactly what they said via online chat. LOL… I guess they still have the “New company Blu’s”. get it… I crack my self up.

Blu was OK but I would take mine out Sat night to go party and by midnight it was dead. Now I’ve been using v2 cigs, it includes a charging case that doesn’t need to be charge for a week or so, works better for me.

Here’s the skinny on the Blu after 2 weeks.
The upside: It works. I am off tobacco the last two weeks.
The downside: It doesn’t work consistantly well, i.e., you don’t always get a nicotine hit from the flavor cartidge when you want it.
What you need to know is the innards of the flavor cartridge:
Inside the cartridge you slip over the atomizer is another small plastic cartidge with an aluminum foil seal over the top. You puncture the foil when you insert the carteidge onto the atomizer. Below the foil the inner cartridge is filled with some kind of fiber that is wet with the nicotine solution. According to the product literature, the nicotine solution is water, nicotine, flavoring and propylene glycol. The propylene glycol either acts to enhance the solubility of the nicotine, or as a thickener so the solution doesn’t flow out of the cartdge after the foil seal is broken.
You run into problems when the following happens (it it happens pretty frequently):
1. The atomizer is covered with a layer of foil from the broken seal and doesn’t function properly.
2. The fiber and nicotine solution are pushed down into the cartdge and are not making good contact with the atomizer.
The symptoms of both are you just can’t seem to consistantly get a good nicotine hit.
The fixes are a follows:
1. When you insert the cartridge over the atomizer and break the seal, immediately remove the cartridge, pull any loose foil from it, the re-insert the atomizer into the cartridge.
2. If you can’t seem to get a hit from a cartridge that’s only a few hours old, remove the inner cartridge with small tweezers or jewelers screwdriver and stir the fiber/nicotine solution slightly, especially making sure that it’s not compacted down into the bottom of the cartridge.
I dissected an apparently dead cartridge that was only a couple of hours old, when I squeezed the inner cartridge, a drop of liquid spilled over the top. I touched this liquid with the tip of my finger, then touched my finger to the tip of my tongue. That liquid was loaded with nicotine, and just not making good contact with the atomizer. Correct the contact problems and you have corrected the performance problems, it’s that simple.

So far, so good. Though the mist isn’t as satisfying as full-bodied smoke, the flavors are nice, and it beats clenching a pencil between your teeth, wishing it was a cigarette. As previous reviewers have mentioned, the benefits far outweigh the drawbacks here (less/no carcinogens, lack of tobacco smell on clothes/breath, cost, etc). I understand that they may have had some problems with filling orders in the past… sounds as if they weren’t prepared for the surge in popularity their product has enjoyed. Here’s hoping big tobacco doesn’t have their way with the FDA, and has these things banned… they’re the closest I’ve come to weaning myself off of filthy cancer sticks.

I started with a Blu and that quickly became more of a chore than a pleasure. My biggest issue was their cartridge design. I found myself spending far too much time trying to mod them to flow right. I didn’t particular like changing batts every 20 minutes either. I mean the Blu pack does keep me going but all the changing and charging was irritating. After much research I got a Riva from evcigarettes and I have been using the same batt all day with no issues. Filled my 510 cart about 15 times but maybe mega carts will solve that when I can justify another purchase. My other advice to new e smokers is don’t get TOO cheap of liquid either. Got 2 30ml from strictlyejuice for 10$ each and they scorch my throat to the point that I can’t talk. If you need to go cheap get real Dukang, it’s not that expensive but better than knokoffs, I got mine from the evcigarettes. Liked the free bottle they sent. To each their own differant models and variations are great for different folks. Just be careful not to buy a cheap knock off as you will probably be dissapointed in the end. I can’t be happier with my authentic EM RIVA, it’s simply fantastic compared to my previous e cigs.

When I first started “vaping” I was dissapointed. I got two or three puffs and the “vapor” seemed to dissapear. Then I bought some smoke juice. I poke a hole in the “filter” where the foil is and squirt a couple drops into it. Wait a couple minutes and it works great….. I got the sampler pack with the starter kit, and am wondering if they were just old and dried out. I am happy not to have to stand outside – I live in Minnesota – and my car and clothes don’t smell like smoke anymore.

I don’t like the Blu cig at all. it is a very hard draw and almost no throat hit. Very little vapor. The battery life is very short and so are the cartridges. Sorry..do not spend your money here. I’m using GreenSmoke now.

@fossiflower…I think they are just behind on the atomizers…I just ordered ‘cartons’ and they shipped within a day. If they have to be behind in something, it’s probably better that way as if you already quit, it would suck to not be able to get refills for a long period of time.
I actually had success for 2 months with these things, but my big mistake was thinking I could switch to the ‘light’ versions. They were just WAY too light. I think if you’re coming off being a full time smoker (especially if you hang out with other smokers), just continue buying the full flavor. For me, during the 2 months I had quit, I was using the device less and less each day, so I probably would have come off in time anyway. As I said, I just bought some cartons, so I’m giving quitting a try again after ‘falling off the wagon’ for a while.
As others have mentioned, they do have some flaws like dripping and I think the atomizers either ware down after a few months or some are just weak, but on a whole, this device has given me the best chance at quitting as opposed to the patch or the gum or, worse, quitting cold turkey…none of those ever worked for me.

I tried using this product for several days with several different flavor cartridges. They are in no way a reasonable substitute for real cigarettes. If you’re a smoker and you are looking for something that gives you the same positive physical effects without the harmful chemicals, you won’t find a solution with Blu. Their advertising is completely baseless. Their only response to my complaint was that “every person’s experience is different.” Clearly, your experience is not meant to include what they’re marketing it as.

Blu SUCKS!!! After waiting forever, being yelled at by customer service, and having my package delivered 2 weeks late, BOTH atomizers died within a week, and one battery! Also, the fake cig pack that supposedly charges it, didn’t work. No one apologized or tried to make it right when I called to ask how to return it. It was like they are so used to people returning their product it doesn’t even phase them. Thank god for the 30 day return policy, though it is based on when it ships, so it doesn’t matter if it took two weeks to GET here. I went with the GreenSmoke, which I can buy at my local smoke shop, and you CAN refill cartridges with the atomizer attached- just pop off the plastic end cap (on the end you suck through), then drip e juice onto the fill. Check out you tube vids for how to do it. But FORGET BLU. The product is JUST LOW QUALITY!!!

I have had my blu for about a week. I have not had a cigarette since my first hit on the blu. If you want better vapor production.. hold the e cig facing with the light towards the ground between puffs. This let’s the liquid drain to the heating element. Also with precision tweezers take off the foil before you attach the cart. Drip a couple drops of liquid directly onto the atomizer to prime it between cartridge changes. Take a soft steady even five second drag. You may need some practice but I havebeen experimenting and I get great vapor production for about 25 puffs. Then I just drop a couple drops of liquid to refill and start all over again. I am so happy with mine. Other people around me are buying them like crazy. This is going to be the next big thing for smoking in my opinion. I ordered some more flavors from johnson creek and they will arrive tomorrow. Can’t wait. This is fun.

The taste of the classic flavor took some getting used to for me but I was impressed with how I felt satisfied all day puffing on this gadget here and there. I no longer need analog smokes. Classic is the only flavor that is even remotely like a Marlboro Light but not really.
I hate how the juice gets on my lips, that is nasty since sometimes the liquid comes out when I take draws. Good thing I bought extra batteries, they do not last as long as they say.
I waited 7 weeks for this thing, the company is way behind on production and their service is lacking in many areas. They will just piss you right off.
For the most part, they have the start of a really good product here but I see lots of room for improvements. I am not crazy about the taste of any of their flavors (too sweet and or too synthetic)or the super lame customer service. I am going to try a different brand since I really love the concept but am afraid to depend on BLU for consistent timely shipments.

So, in spite of all the complaints about slow shipping, I decided to order Blu e-cigs. I ordered them 5 days ago and my order is still “processing.” It has NOT shipped yet. I spoke with someone on their live chat and they said that it can take 48 BUSINESS hours to ship. This doesn’t mean 48 hours, it means 48 hours broken up over 8 hour days, so really more like 6 days, not including weekends. Talk about false advertising. I don’t understand what can possibly take so long to put a box in the mail? I’m sure all the starter kits are pre-packaged and ready to go. So it will probably take two to three weeks to get it in the mail, and this is NORMAL for this company. The livechat person was in no way apologetic. I think if I like the product, (If I ever recieve it), I will buy ejuice from a different site and refill my cartridges instead of trying to order refills from their site. I’d have to know 3 weeks in advance when I would need a refill. For a product that is gaining momentum and notoriety, they sure do a great job of alienating and falsely advertising to their customers. They need to get their shipping under control, or I’m done with them.

hi i have yet to try a blu e-cig yet i just thought i would share my experience with the e-cig brand i use ‘gamucci’ i started vapeing about 3 months ago and i have only ever purchased one starter kit the gamucci micro, its brilliant i havent smoked a real cigarette in months. i get just as much vapour from the gamucci as i would smoke from a normal cigarette the tastes good and the throats hits there! i would deffinatley reccomend it to everyone.

My boyfriend ordered the blu with high hopes… It did help him cut down on smoking, but he didn’t completely stop; it just wasn’t enough. After go through various forums and watching a bunch of YouTube reviews, he ordered the Magma 510 from Lava. Oh my goodness, it makes the blu seem like an ultra light. The vapor production is amazing, the battery life is great, and the PCC even has an LED display that shows you how much battery life is left. After he got his Magma, he gave me his blu.. I think I had it for all of 5 hours before I went online and ordered a Magma for myself.. For those of you who want something with better vape production and a better throat hit, try the Magma.. the blu is poo (Oh, and I am not employed by any manufacturer and I am not paid for my opinion… I’m just really into the Magma, I haven’t had a cigarette in 3 weeks.. haven’t wanted one)

I fallowed the instructions on charging the batter as discribed. i have found that the battery life is only 20 minutes, the cartridges last all of about 3 puffs, not the 100 as discribed on your web site. to order more cartridges would be a waste of money. they dont last.
I would honestly never recamend this product to anyone. this was a big waste of money. after reading the reviews on this product, I thought i would take a chance and purchase it.

ALL of the flavor cartridges had little to NO flavor at all. it was like I was just puffing away on Steam. LAME. I was totally disappointed. I returned the kit as much as i liked the look and having a “pack” is neat. but it doesnt matter how cool it is if the vapor has absolutely flavor. It bums me out cause I really wanted to like these. Also as some others have mentioned, the customer service with this company is just awful. They dont reply to emails at all, and if you get someone on the phone they act like they could care less unless they think you are about to buy something. Im switching back to my old faithful KR808D model which gives me Full flavored hits of vapor. I just wish they had the cool case and stuff like Blu. Buyers Be warned…

Eluma states that it is normal for thier batteries and atomizers to die before 60 days
Blu emits nice strong hits of vapor and their design makes better sense
Eluma tends to go back and forth between good hits of vapor and none at all
Blu doesn’t take like tobacco, their regular tobacco flavor tastes more like vanilla which left me very unsatisfied
Eluma has a great tobacco flavor that I loved and it satisfied.
I tried Eluma because I did not want to buy their batteries and atomizers every 2 months but the taste of Blu may force me back!

I just to vaping the regular red light electronic cigarette, until I decide to give it a try to Blu cigs and since I received my first kit I can’t stop vaping it anywhere and everywhere, in my own opinion, I think the blu light helps a lot, because first able looks HOT and people around me don’t get confused about a regular red light cigarette, they know immediately that is not like the original cigarettes… it’s my Blu electronic cigarette.

I LOVE MY BLU! I’ve been using Blu since about November of 2009. I’d NEVER heard of e-cigs before until I read an article in the NYTimes (I’m a NYC’er), about them. WHile I’d no plans on quitting, there seemed to be several good points. it was just nicotine – like in a patch (nicotine in itself is NOT carcinogenic. YEs, it’s addictive, but that’s all), cigarette prices here – which wre already very high, were going up even higher. Finally, you could smoke an e-cig ANYWHERE smoking a tobacco cigarette’s illegal.
I got it. Long story short; I had 5 packs o cigarettes. Within 2 days, I did NOT want to smoke any of the tobacco cigarettes.
I’ve smoked since I was very youg. It never bothered me – the smell, etc. All I can say, is you know that feeling in the morning – “I gotta have a smoke’? Well, I still get it. The difference is, when I think about smoking a tobacco cigarette, it’s like sucking on a car’s exhaust pipe.
I smoked about half a pack a day. Still, my apartment REEKED. My clothes REEKED. I brought my computer in for a repair, and the guy took one look at it (an off-white MacBook), and he says; ‘you smoke?’
Sigh.
Smoking an e-cig is similar to, but NOT exactly the same as smoking a tobacco cigarette. It took me a couple of days to ‘learn’ the proper way to pull on it. I get HUGE amounts of smoke (the smoke is real, but it’s STEAM. water vapor. NOT carcinogenic ANYTHING, and it has almost NO smell).
I’ve learned a couple of tricks. The most important is I always save my used filters. There’s ALWAYS some liquid nicotine left. I take the cotton in the filters, and put them all in a bag, and compress it. ALl the liquid nicotine pours out the little hole I’ve cut in the bottom, and into a bottle. Then, with an eye-dropper, I ‘refill’ some filters, and NOTHING goes to waste.
SImple way to look at an e-cig is, it’s the same as a patch – BUT… YOU get not only the physical (nocotine), but the PSYCHOLOGICAL – you get to hold it in your hands, and blow out smoke.
I NEVER thought I’d stop smoking. Blu’s made that possible. I feel better, I SMELL better – as does my (new) apartment – NO smokey smell AT ALL.
I not only recommend e-cigs – Blu, especially – I implore you – for yourself, and those who love you.

I received my first starter kit two weeks ago, and was so impressed with it I ordered another one for my son. Shipping time is as stated, about five business days. Love the blu cig when its working properly, but am already having problems with the charger pack and the batteries not holding a charge for very long (probably because the charger pack not working). My son is not having any problems whatsoever with his starter kit, and he has quit smoking regular cigarettes since he received it. I probably would have quit but for the problems with the batteries – still have to rely on real smokes for backup. Have ordered new batteries and charger case, and when I receive them will return the original ones for exchange. Then I should have everything covered to quit smoking cigarettes for good!

I ordered my blu e cig white starter kit w/full flavor 16mg carts on 06/02 and received it 6/10(8days). I live in NY and it came from NC. Anyone who is saying it only took 4 days is most likely working for the company to suck you in. They use a company called MailExpress to ship their product. So i think shipping sucks bu then again its free.
First thing i did when i got it was charged both batteries. And so far its been pretty good. an electronic cig is not a real one so you have to pace yourself with it and not sit there all day and vap it or the battery will die pretty quit. common sense. the vapor production is amazing i thought it was going to suck but no complaints here.
The carts arent the most flavorful. menthol is the best gives the best throat hit and vanilla is my least fav.
Customer service isnt horrible but could be better. i like the 24hour chat but it takes them forever to respond and its kind of like getting a robot response.
Overall its doing the job i have not smoked a real cig yet. and the carts are lasting longer than people try to say, again pace yourself its not a real cig. the flavor carts could be better.
TIPS: when puncturing the cart twist and pull excess foil off of atomizer. i am only using one atomizer and put the other one away cause i hear they only have a certain time life and if you use both they are going to most likely die at the same time.

I have been trying out the Blu ecig now for three weeks or so. Definately not the same feel as a cigarette but is a good alternative to help slow down on smoking. This is my first puffer and have to say I am pretty impressed with the technology. I usually smoke about 15-20 cigarettes per day but since using the ecig I have quit smoking during the day and only have 3-4 in the evening so I have cut back quite a bit. One thing I did run into was the inconsistency of the ecig in general. Through trial and error I have realised that you need to have a fully charged battery and a full cartridge to get a good drag and if you use a new cartridge pop it out and remove the foil completely first. This will last about 30 puffs (almost a full day for me)and then you need to top off the cartridge and recharge. Rather than buying new cartridges I have been using the Johnson Creek smoke juice to refill and am surprised that I prefer the vanilla flavor since I regularly smoke Marlborough lights. So far no problems with the actual product, batteries, atomizer, etc and had no problems with ordering. Overall very happy with the product and the company and I think with the improvements in technology the ecig is will become a realistic mainstream solution.

I ordered the Blu cigarette because I was searching for a better product than the electronic cigarette that I had been using for a year. The shipment came fairly quickly (about 5 business days) and I was very pleased by the appearance and value of the product. However, there were several issues that I had. The battery life on these things is fairly short (thank got for the charger pack), the cartridges did not last long, and my charger pack broke within a week. Now I have to go through the arduous task of filling out paperwork and sending back the product for an exchange. Overall, though, I was pleased with the product.

This thing sure does take care of the urges to smoke. I haven’t wanted a real cig all day today. I was use to smoking Lights but decided to order the Full Flavor Version. I’ve tried Green Smoke and Blu, among others. I love Blu’s chargers and how quick they charge. And the charging pack is awesome. BUT I’ve not had any luck with vapor or flavor. My starter kit arrived within a week of ordering, but I have had trouble getting answers from customer service when trying to find out why I don’t get vapor & flavor, and what I can do to improve it. If I can get that problem fixed, I will probably continue to order. I have eJuice coming from Johnson Creek so maybe that will help. But for now IMO Green Smoke, while more expensive, is the best eCig there is. Plenty of flavor and vapor.

I received my blu E-cig yesterday, or was it the day before?…hmm im not sure but i ordered it and received it in a week. I have had only one drag of a regular cig since just to compare the two. I have been smoking since i was 14. I am 28 now and it’s time to either stop or find an alternative..for now BLu is an alternative. I have not ready anything about any FDA studies or anything..i just know that for me, right now..it works. I don’t have any vapor problems and i am pleased with the taste. I will just keep thinking positive thoughts for the Blu cig and hope that it stays around…if it went away, it would be hard and painful, but i would just quit..no more tobacco cigs for me dang it!

I just got mine today! My boyfriend did as well too. He tried all the flavors already. I didn’t. The best ones to get the “nicotine and smoking” feeling is the mint (mentol) and the “marlboro aka reg cig) flavor. I love it!!!! I also love the fact that I don’t smell like cigarettes anymore! It always embarassed me walking past people or walking into a room and stinking!! The price is also very reasonable too!!!

Got mine in yesterday and I couldn’t be more happy! My husband and I have both smoked for I don’t know how many years (and I won’t tell you cause that will date us and it will kill me, lol). Well, (a) I have asthma, and now I have a precious little boy and he has SEVERE asthma. Now we don’t smoke in the house or around him and we never have, but the smoke smell is always on us and I know he smells it. When we come in from smoking he always starts coughing and I just hate it. We have wanted to quit for years and now is the time (not to mention the fact that with cigs at a ridiculous price, and I smoke menthol and my hubby smokes regular…) Well, I only bought one starter kit just in case we didn’t like it, then we wouldn’t be out a fortune, and since it came with two atomizers, and 2 chargers, I thought we would be fine. It got here in 4 days and I have to say WE LOVE IT!!!! My son made a big deal and a huge ceremony of taking our remaining cigarettes to the trash can and crushed them and threw them away!!! I didn’t realize how really AWESOME this thing was going to be though until we took my child and a friend of his to a movie today…and my husband and I both whipped out our Blu’s AND NO ONE WAS THE WISER!!!!! Blu is about what I expected, a nifty gadget that delivers nicotine without the other junk, exactly what I’ve been wanting for years (I love nicotine). The research I’ve seen (FDA et al)shows e-cigs still have a few low level carcinogens that come from the prep of tobacco leaves (TSNAs), but nowhere near the amount of real smoke. The pack is awesome, I can charge it in my car and on my laptop which is a big deal for me. Each cartridge lasts quite a while, and I usually go thru two battery charges per cartridge. The startup kit comes with two atomizers, which you’ll need if you’re going to switch from menthol to another flavor. I tried menthol first and the flavor is still lingering which is to be expected. Overall, AMAZING PRODUCT. I have a pack of smokes on standby and I haven’t wanted one since I pulled blu out of the box.

I have to agree with a few others, the amount of vapor is ridiculously low. Every now and again I will get a good amount. I did some googling and came up with a few things, try to manually fill the cart with some extra liquid, and inhale directly into my lungs, now into my mouth than inhale it all down, both do not work. I got my order within 2 and a half weeks of ordering so I was happy about that, but the small amount of vapor means small amount of flavor escaping the device and arriving into my mouth making it almost unpleasant to try and vape. I would LOVE to have more vapor out of these things due to the style, the flavor, the charge pack, the awesome service, and the prices. I plan on making blu my ecig company solo, but I have to fix this no vapor thing first. I hope blu figures it out before I do because I wont sell it cheap!

They had me try about ten different things until finally they told me after the fourth time to try and are declined you cant order till the next day. They were rude and generally inconsiderate. I’M NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO HAS HAD PROBLEMS! Check out the Better Business Bureau website. They grade them as an F. When i looked they and 11 serious complaints against them any many many more that were not considered serious; ranging from customer service to non-delivery of products. It may be a good price but it’s def not worth the hassle to deal with the company, spend your money somewhere else and get Green or V2.

I ordered some Blu stuff and it’s pretty good. However if you order the starter kit, you will be waiting 30 days+. The don’t seem to ever have enough of them in stock. Thats why I went to Volcanoecigs and ordered there new Magma kit. It is far better, battery lasts longer, bigger carts, and they have a new PCC (portable charging case) with a battery status indicator on it. And it only took 3 days to get to me. Check them out if you want a realy good ecig at a good price, and fast shipping.

The blu cartridges are crap, they might be economically friendly but your better off getting the liquid. You can get a bottle for about 20$ that will last you for over a month.
All you do is drip 2 drops in the atomizer of the blu cig and place a used cartridge on it. Just dont over soak it.

I’ve been vaping for about 6 months now, and have used many different e-cigs. The biggest cause of getting good vapor at first (two or three drags) then no vapor is that your e-liquid isn’t ‘wicking’ properly. To get it to wick properly requires a modification to the cartridge material that the blu doesn’t allow. When you change cart material from fiber fill to marine filter, the liquid will enter the battery’s switch compartment (because it uses an ‘automatic’ switch).
For me, I have to use a manual battery and switch my cart filler out to get good consistent vapor.

This company is extremely unprofessional. I ordered a blu cigarette and received my product DAMAGED. Not only were the sides of the box dent and scratched, the flavor cartridge looked liked it was tampered with and the flaps were ripped. I called the company to have it replaced, but in order to do that, I would have to pay for my own shipping to get the cartridge there. The quality of customer service is TERRIBLE. They don’t even the basics of starting and maintaining a company. It doesn’t make sense for a customer to pay for something that was given to them damaged. I don’t recommend buying the Blu Cigarette from this company. I agree with the other guy who said Green Smoke is way better, I’ve had no problems with my Green Smoke model.

This product is overall a fantastic product. A lot of time went into development and for $59.00, I not only quit real cigs, but also saved a ton of money. There are so many advantages. Here are a few:
1-no smell, includes fingers, breath, second-hand smoke etc.
2-no real chance of fire.
3-Harm reduction. Switch from a known cancer causing product that contains 4000+ chemicals to straight nicotine. This comes in 3 different levels, or with the option to have no nicotine in the cartridges.
4-Way more “socially acceptable” (can smoke almost anywhere).
5-Tastes way better, maybe too good lol.
6-the blucigs are very well designed, I would say that this is one of the best inventions, or best developed e-cig on the market now.
The only thing I did not like was that the blucigs had very slow delivery. It took at least 2 weeks before I received and they only take CC. If they improved this, this would be a company to invest in. The flavors are great, my preference is the vanilla and classic tobacco. Probably the FDA will outlaw this, because it is too good and people will be quitting smoking left and right. Just my 2 cents, best thing since the I-phone.

Ok, so I’m reading all these reviews and everyone seems to be having trouble with getting a few good hits and then nothing. I received mine about a week ago(after waiting a month) and if you put the cartrige on twist slightly like they suggest, remove and check for loose foil and re-attach. For me I take lighter puffs and give the thing a little break in between hits and I get 50 good puffs if not more. When I first started using it, I was puffing like I was trying to suck a watermelon through a garden hose and I was having the same problem everyone else is describing. Remember, it is “NOT” a real ciggarette, so it’s not going to work exactly like a real ciggarette. I love thing, and the shipping delay only further proves how good this product is. They can’t keep it on the shelf for a reason.

Hey, Just got my Blu Cig starter kit today and it is AMAZING. I’m very happy, even though the order was “Processing” for a few days. I got worried so I called tech support and after about 5min on hold I got a very helpful dude. Big surprise was my pal who ordered them on his credit card for us called me while I was on hold to tell me they were here!! lol anyways, great throat hit especially on the classic tobacco and tons of vapor from all of them (even empty cartridges for some reason make a little vapor?) My favorites are the menthol, tobacco and cherry but the others seem to lack flavor. All of them taste a little chemically and I feel a little sick after about an hour but I think that’s from the nicotine because unlike a cigarette you never need to stop until you run out completely. So my best tip is to regulate yourself. I am pretty sure I quit cigarettes for good today. Oh yeah and the blue LED’s and charging gear is so cool, I got white and it looks like something out of a Space Shuttle from NASA. Def different, there’s kind of a fruitish flavor to it all not quite like smoke, but I’m hoping other Ejuice will have more intense flavors to enjoy!
BEWARE: I feel like there’s a feeding frenzy of fake reviews by investors, retailers and paid of forum posters or something. Everybody talks trash about every other brand, my advice is to try yourself, that’s what I did and I am happy. Maybe another brand would be for you though.

This whole thing with the FDA coming down on ecigs is ridiculous – if real cigarettes, which are known to have a plethora of carcinogens, are still available for sale, then how can they shut down ecig companies?
The answer is money. And who do you think might be putting up money to block acceptance of the ecig industry? Well, of course it would be the cigarette manufacturers – rather than coming up with an ecig themselves, I am sure they are paying to shut down the ecig industry.
If Blu is doing so well, and by all appearances, they are, can you imagine what an ecigarette carrying the Marlboro label might achieve?

I have been using my blue for about 3 months now. In the begining I was able to almost fully quit smoking, that was great news after smoking over a pack a day for 25 years. I was having some vapor issues off and on, kinda like not getting enough smoke. I e chated from their website with a technical specialist and explained that some flavors “atomize” better than other ones. They recomend, I do to!, the tobacco flavor and menthol. They both seem to work the best. This guy also gave me the CEO’s personal e mail address and I emailed him about the situation. He told me that new cartriges with much better “vapor” reactions are coming soon and to be patient. They have finally worked out all the bugs and they will update people on their website soon. I check there frequently.
I am still smoking regular cigs but with my Blu eventually they will become a thing of the past. Blu’s are much cheaper and seem to last awhile, just plan on extra order time….them poor guys are really busy…and for good reason!! Its a great product. I have never experienced bad customer relations with them.

Recharge instructions are unclear. They specify to charge until a light “turns off”. The lights change colors and/or go to blinking mode. They never “Turn Off”. Neither customer service or tech support seems to understand the difference between “Off” and “Blinking”(such as a turn signal being “On or Off”). They sent me another charger (for free) and it does the exact same thing. I guess the chargers work OK, I just found the instructions confusing. They certainly offered no real clarity and acted like I was crazy. I simply do not want to overcharge / damage the batteries and have yet to receive any logical instructions.
There is also a specific Sequence required to connecting the pack unit for charging that no one at BluCig HQ seems to be aware of. Accurate and logical instructions would be nice for items as expensive as these are. A brief training of their customers service folks on actually using the products could save many headaches. Poor management.
The Cherry Crush cartridges are about worthless. One or two puffs and then they produce “dead air” until about 10 minutes later. No satisfaction from that flavor possible. I have to keep a Classic on 1 battery and a CC on my other to be able to gather enough vapors to curb my cravings.
It’s hard to tell just what component is failing when the vapors stop. I’ve probably tossed several good carts when it simply was not engaged exactly right(?)
My hopes to use Blu Cigs to break away from Camels do not look very promising at this time. I may try getting extra batteries and atomizers so I can have 2 or 3 functional units on hand. Hate to throw good money after bad money….

I have had my Blu cig 1 week now and I am still not sure about it. First drag or two are okay but after that, no vapor and no hit in the back of the throat. I do think I am getting the nicotine because I don’t really have any cravings. I called the company and explained my problem and they gave me several things to try, which I did, but I am still having the problem of the first two hits being good, then I have to put it down for an hour or so and then hit on it again. The Blu Cig Electronic Cigarette is the third electronic cigarette I was able to try out as the official product tester for epuffdirect.com. I’ve been using blu cigs for the last 2 months now and am finally happy to provide you with my unbiased blu cig review below:
The first and most noticable difference between the blu cigs and the other brands I had tried previously was of course the nifty rechargable pack. I find this design very useful as it serves a couple of different purposes. One of the main things I like about having the rechargable pack is that not only do you now have the ability to carry additional cartridges with you but every time you pull one of the batteries out of the pack it has a brand new charge on it. Now if you’ve ever tried ecigs you know that there is nothing worse than a battery that isn’t charged or just half charged. Plus, who wants to wait on something to charge, I just carried the pack with me and the pack did it’s magic while I was busy doing other things. With Blu Cigs I noticed that I had a much more enjoyable smoking experience over other brands as the batteries were always fresh. Big points for that!
As far as the cartridges and the taste of the cartridges I was extremely impressed. The price of the cartridges is quite low and the flavor options are plentiful and of course come in varying levels of nicotine strength. They produce quite a strong hit and are in my opinion the most satisfying and vapor emitting cartridges I’ve yet to try. With the starter kit you purchase from Blu you also get 5 packs of catridges of your choice flavor and nicotine level. Each pack contains 5 cartridges. I actually got one of each flavor they offer, Vivid Vanilla and Magnificent Menthol instantly became my favorites. They also offer Cherry Crush, Classic Tobacco and Java Jolt.
With Blu Cigs you are getting more than just another electronic cigarette in my opinion. You also get piece of mind. You don’t have to worry that your batteries are going to die or having to keep up with carrying around cartridges. Everything comes in a nice rechargable pack that you can depend on and at an excellent price to boot. Blu puts more into their starter packs than any other brand on the market at a price that blows the competition away.
I would highly recommend Blu Cigs to my friends and already have. It’s all about the Blu.

If you are (still) having trouble getting stuff for your Blu from blucigs, I suggest Volcano. They are the *exact same* device. Many companies sell this eCig model (L88) and rebrand them. Volcano (no I don’t work for them, just went with them after all the Blu horror stories) has customer service in exactly the was Blu doesn’t…better prices…and get this: they actually show what they have in stock and have a 24Hour shipping policy and actual tracking numbers that you can look up.
If you reach the edge of frustration, buy all means do NOT give up on your Blu. Just get your stuff from someone else like Green Smoke

They didn’t even test blu! They tested 2 brands from the USA. In their report you can read “They vary greatly on their contents.” So how do they know if blu has anything harmful unless they test it? They better not ban all ecigs just because of 2 companys with trace amounts of harmful chemicals.

I ordered the Blu cigarette and have had nothing but problems. It was dead on arrival, so I emailed them and it has been 2 weeks and I still have not heard from anyone….What a SCAM!!! Im going to be contacting the BBB to get this situation handled. I would NOT RECOMMEND this company to anyone. All they have done is rob me of my money and all I got was a crappy piece of plastic in return, GREAT!!! I hope anyone of you who is looking at this company realizes what your getting yourselves into. Order Green Smoke instead, at least you get a good product and decent customer service.

How to Make Blu Cigs Work.
Yes, we all know how few satisfying hits the Blu Cigs provide once the cartridge level has dropped below 3/4. But it is way too cool of a product to be that lame. So here is how you fix it so you can truly replace your analog cigarettes.
Step 1) Buy a plethora of Blu Cig Atomizers.
Step 2) Buy eLiquid online somewhere. I like Totally Wicked or Johnson Creek brands, but google “eliquid” and find your own favorite.
Step 3) Then take a few cartridges and add your eLiquid fluid by either refilling or topping off an existing Blu cartridge.
Step 4) After you have filled a few catridges, then simply place your available atomizers onto the “plump full of eLiquid” Blu cartridges and add them to your Blu Pack.
When you are ready for a smoke that lets you puff a good 20 times like an analog cig, unscrew your spent cartridge and screw in a topped off cartridge.
Once you have exhausted all of your cartridges, lay them out on the table and add a few more drops to each, replace the atomizer, and start all over again.
Best to stock up on atomizers and eLiquid now before the FDA bans the use and sale of these devices.

Product MAY be great, but the company sucks! My son ordered his 1 1/2 months ago. They billed my credit card (I wanted to help him quit smoking, so was glad to pay for the first set)after about 3 weeks of waiting. The whole time, we got the run around about why they weren’t filling the order. I wasn’t too upset, because, hey, I wasn’t out any money, right? WRONG! They had the time to charge my credit card, but couldn’t seem to mail the product. They sent a tracking number, but the product never came, and the post office doesn’t have any records of them having ever sent it. This is because they didn’t! We called the company, and got several different stories. We were told that people would return our calls or e-mail and only one person ever returned calls or e-mail. Unfortunately, she didn’t have the power to fix the problem. We were lied to, and even hung up on! They even pushed it up to a superviser who would never get on the phone or answer our concerns. Finally, I asked them to refund the money. I will give them the 3-5 days that they ask for to refund the money, and then I will start trying to press for a fraud review. So far, for us, it has just been one big rip off.
Sure wish I knew the name of the ONE customer service person who did her job. She needs to be running that dept. !!!

I’m so excited to be a blu smoker, myself.
Overall, I think that Blu is the very best out there, in price and quality. The shipping problems they had are a thing of the past now that they’ve got a larger crew and more regular supply, and they seem to have caught up on prior orders, here’s me crossing my fingers that the pace keeps up and nobody has to wait three to four weeks for their order to arrive at their door.

I just got my Blu Cig today. I first of all was expecting a lot more vapor. Second I don’t feel like it hardly gives me any nicotine at all. It also took forever to get here. I am not pleased with it at all. I may as well as be inhaling air through a straw for all it does for me. I hope it works out better for the rest of y’all.

I’m having the same issue as Michelle. I ordered the ultra-lights because I smoked American Spirit ultra-lights, and I’m finding that it’s not satisfying my nicotine cravings very much. I’ve been thinking about ordering lights or even fulls (and taking fewer puffs) because I really want to stick to the blu exclusively, but I’m just not getting what my addicted body needs.
Are other people experiencing this dose discrepancy?

I loved the Blu-Cigs when I first got them, but I am having the same problem as the other person here. After the 2nd “drag”, I’m not getting any vapor. Customer service has been very helpful – sent me a new atomizer – but the problem still persists. I am ordering another carton of cartridges in hope that I got a bad batch. But – sounds like I’m not the only one with this problem.
With the recharging case, appearance of the “cigarette” and all, I like Blu Cigs the best of the ones I have seen. But – no vapor – ugh.

I was excited to get my starter kit of Blu E-cigs, and spent the first day making sure batteries and charger was fully charged. I am a seasoned smoker with 50 yrs smoking under my belt. Due to the high cost, I smoke 1 pack of sub generic cigarettes a day. I loaded up a high nicotine cartridge and got 2 or 3 good puffs off it and decided maybe I got a bad cartridge and loaded up a new one, same thing. By the end of the day, I had used up all the kit cartridges and needed a cigarette badly. I gave it a shot! Maybe E-cigs are not for me, or maybe they need more refining, and maybe it was worth the money to find out!

EVERYONE SHOULD READ THIS…… WARNING
I just bought the e cig and soon started to smoke it. I stopped smoking real cig a while back but thought it would be cool to try this stuff so I can give it to my dad to help him smoke a healthier newer generation smokes without any worries.
I workout alot and after smoking this stuff and running I have to say this stuff CAN NOT BE HEALTHY.
I have been researching more into the company and found out that e cig has not filed to FDA approve it. On top of it all The FDA has just released a warning on Wednesday 23 july 2009 that laboratory analysis of some E-cigarettes revealed that they contain carcinogens and toxic chemicals. One of the detected chemicals, diethylene glycol, is an ingredient used in anti-freeze. The tests also found nitrosamines, some of which are known to cause cancer and also are present in normal cigarettes.

I ordered a starter kit over 3 weeks ago on June 28. They said it would ship within 48 hours. They sent me an email later that said they were having delays but I would receive my order within 2 weeks. 2 weeks later it still had not even shipped so I chatted with their live support who had no information at all about orders and just kept repeating the same pre-written responses, I’m not even sure they read what I wrote. Now, a week later, I asked them again and they still wont tell me when they plan on shipping it. I don’t want to cancel my order since I have read a lot of good things about their product and I really need to quit smoking, but this company is very disorganized and really needs to improve their service.
I will post a new review if they ever get around to shipping my order but as of now I’m highly dissatisfied with their service.

Just got my blu cig yesterday and I’m excited because though it’s not perfect, it’s going in the right direction. Very close to smoking cigarettes and, if they fix things a bit, I think they could actually get this hardcore smoker to quit.
Here are my observations:
Pleasant taste.
Only enough vapor on the first drag and even then, not quite enough. They have a consistency problem. I don’t know if it’s the battery, the atomizer, or the cartridges. When they work strong enough, it’s quite satisfying. When they don’t, it’s disappointing, especially since you’ve experienced a good drag before.
Because I’m dragging too hard on them (I think) and too often, I’m not getting much longevity to my battery or cartridges..
So: I want more “vope” (vapor) and more consistency, but this is a very promising product.

I ordered my Blu on May 30th and finally got it on June 30th (to the day). Right out of the package it was the coolest thing ever, then the issues started (as if the 30 day shipping wasn’t the first issue). Anyway, It started with the cartridges, the website states there worth around 10 to 17 analogs each, the truth (and I’m a pack a day smoker) they are more like 4 or 5 analogs. The second issue (or third depending on when you started counting) Was with the atomizer, even though Blu did send me two in my starter kit, both of them stopped making good amount of vapor after five or so cartridges. So this is what I did! I ordered replacement atomizers and another carton of cartridges, knowing it will be another month before I get that stuff, I went online and learned how to clean my atomizers and ordered a stronger bottle of smoke juice from Johnson Creek. I refill the old cartridges and clean my atty’s once a week. The dam thing works great now. My next one though will be a 510!

i just got mine in, i have to say im excited, and i like it so far, however im still craving the real thing a lil, i guess thats normal… I have been going outside to “smoke” my ecig because its what im used to and that sorta makes it feel more “normal” lol
I am also not getting very much vapor, and wondering if im getting enough niccotine? i smoked ultra light cigs and i ordered the low figuring that would be the same, but i dont drag hard so maybe i didnt get enough? Im determined to stick with it. Im really sick of looking 35 when im only 27, and i know its from smoking! good luck to everyone!

Hate to burst a bubble.
I got my Blu Cig, back on June 15th of this year. After a month of waiting for it, I was quite happy the the product. But in the past few weeks this have been going a bit downhill.
First, one of the batteries has now completely died. It will not hold a charge at all. Shortly after that, the atomizer started to fail because the good battery is now unable to power it.
I contacted Blu Cig, for customer service and the helpful technician walked me though troubleshooting it and was able to figure out what was wrong.
Now for the bad part of this review. The technicial that I spoke with stated that he would be able to get me a new part out in 48hrs. This was on July 8th. I called back on the 10th and was told that it had been shipped, unfortunately they didnt have the tracking number so I could call back the next day and get that, and they would email it to me.
I called back on the 11th, and to much my dismay, the replacement parts have not been shipped and will not for approx 2 – 4 weeks. This is quite a huge difference in the 48 hours that I was told by the first technician.
If you have a Blue Cig, and are starting to see any kind of issue, call them now, because by the time it stops working, you may have a replacement part.

I got my blu ciggs about 2 weeks ago and I love the taste. I have tried 2 other brands and by far this is the best that I’ve used. Only one complaint, I don’t get any smoke or very very little after about the second drag. Anyone else have this problem?

This thing is great, I use it at the airport for a quick nicotine fix without having to walk all the way out and back through security. Even used it on the plane — in the bathroom so I wouldn’t have to explain it to the flight attendants.
