I am interested to know what you guys think of the samsung T301G. I like tracfone and i think its a great deal… anybody feel anything specific about that phone??? I read reviews on tracfone before i switched to prepaid and it has been great.. but i always like getting new reviews when I switch phones as well.

I had a contract company for so long that just got tired of paying and paying and not saving. With Tracfone I have save a considerably amount and have no complaints. I feel sorry for those folks that are paying astronomical amount in cellphone company because they have a contract, a bill and hidden charges. Tracfone has zero, all of the above NONE

Would just like to add that Tracfone has the lowest out of pocket costs and longer service time. You can get basic service options to keep your costs low, but get quality nationwide coverage. I also like the the phones display your remaining minutes and days of service so you always know where you’re at. You better able to control your usage and your spending as well.

Tracfone is great for people like students and pensioners and my mom for one who is retired bought herself the Tracfone SVC Samsung T155G for elderly people. The clamshell design phone only costs $15, has a large keypad, is hearing aid compatible and you can buy them at Shopko, Meijer, K-Mart and Pamida (mid-west). To get really good value for money from Tracfones minutes you should buy the ‘double minutes for the life of the phone’ plan for $19 to get better value for all the future plans you buy and you should use the promo codes you get on the web.

Listen you know you are getting quality phones at a cheap price and prepaid service so you are more in control of how much your spending, no surprise fees to contend with. Calling across the country costs the same as calling across town. You can’t expect iphone type phones. That’s just not what tracfone is designated for. Its reaching out to those who use their phone on a daily but not MINUTE every second of the day.

I think the best part of tracfone is you basically have the ability to pick your own price when it comes to wireless phone service. If you’re a heavy user, you can buy a Double Minutes card and grab a 400 minutes card, and if you’re a light user then you can just pay as you go starting at 30 minutes for $10. Flexibility and no commitments are key.

After doing my research on the prepaid cell phones/service that are available, I made the switch to Tracfone as well. The entire process has been so easy and convenient, from the purchase to buying minutes, I only wish I had done this sooner. I’m happy to say, “no more contract” and I’m now the one in control. And with double the minutes for life option it’s even better. You pay a one time fee, and then every time you buy new minutes, you get double what you pay for. If you’re a big user, this is definitely a good value.

Tracfone is great for anyone that is good at managing how much they spend a month. If you really don’t pay attention to how much you talk on the phone, I don’t know if I could fully recommend the phone. However, if you are like me, and use the phone sparingly, then the plans are a great idea. They are cheap, good quality, and they sell minutes everywhere. I mean, you can literally walk into walmart, pick one up, and activate it, all in under an hour. And you don’t have to worry about messy contracts or anything of that nature.

I really like the Samsung slider because it is so compact, and i really like the screen. Sure, its not a PDA phone, but it gets the job done. It has great call clarity and is easy to navigate and use. I am not too big on the technology, and I was able to use this phone in no time. It is a great first phone for anyone, and adding the minutes from Tracfone is a cinch.
