We used a Twin Draft Guard on the back door this past winter, while using a laser thermometer to measure the difference in temperature with it in place and without.

It was a difference of between 6 and 8 degrees.

It’s no substitute for getting windows and doors replaced, I’m sure.

But, as a temporary fix, it works really well.

We used an infrared thermometer at the base of our door with the draft guard in place and without.

The temperature rose between 6 and 8 degrees after the guard was slipped under the door.

We’re pretty happy with ours so far.

I hope I can save someone else the money that would be spent on this cheap,horrible product. Not once have I ever opened my front door and closed it and had it ever stay in place. Even after adjusting the length of the product it never made a difference. It takes me at least 30 seconds at least to open and close my front door. Sometimes my time is worth alot more than the money I would save from losing heat under my front door.
