Beware This Is Not A Trustworthy Company. I ordered the trial kit,when it arrived it was missing the atomizer. You can not connect the battery to the cartridge without it. I immediately called, waited on hold for 30 minutes. Requested a return call after 30 minutes and they never responded. I called everyday for 13 days, no one ever answered the phone. Finally on day 14 my card was charged for 109.00 and my credit card company sent me an e-mail to confirm the authorization of the charge. I sent the company an e-mail regarding the missing atomizer and they only responded after I had declared the charge fraudulant, 5 days after I declined the charge. I finally spoke with someone at the company and they said they don’t deal with customers that “charge back”. Maybe the product works but this company is a scam!!!!!

Don’t buy Direct E-cig!!! This company is a scam! I have ordered trial kit just paying of shipping($4.95). Each time when called and emailed to contact customer service (which on their e-mails) to cancel this trial package, it was reached to the wrong company, They don’t put the right information to avoid being contacted. Finally when I found correct access, they said it passed over 14 days so no refundable. I’ve charged the full price of $109.90. CS was extremely rude.

Buyer beware…terrible company..lousy customer service. Never recieved original shipment. Sent by FedEx, but delivered to wrong address. They charged my credit card $109.90. I received a months worth of cartridges and called to find out where th starter kit was. They advised it was delivered. Unfortuate for me,it was delivered to someone else. They said, my problem not theirs. No refund, can’t return the cartridges that I have no use for, because I never got the starter kit. So I am out $109.90, for nothing. I don’t think this company deserves even 1 star! When I tried DirectEcig with the starter kit, I really liked the product. However, I recently ordered a car charger, extra wall charger and a case of atomized cartridges and an extra battery. The results of my order: The wall charger was nothing like the one I already had and had no place to screw in the battery! The car charger had a small plug instead of a place to screw in the battery. The cartridges were the regular kind instead of the atomized ones I ordered, and when I screwed the battery into my original wall charger, it wouldn’t charge. THE ONLY THING CUSTOMER SERVICE SAID THEY WOULD ACCEPT FOR A RETURN WERE THE INCORRECT CARTDRIGES! I couldn’t believer it! The rep didn’t even sound like she really knew the products. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she told me none was available. I asked for the name of the supervisor’s name and she would not give it to me. I hope this company bankrupts after customers find out how much their customer service sucks!

DirectEcig was purchased on Ja.6th 2011,via CNN web site for $4.95 I was not aware of the return policy until after the purchase was made wherein it showed up in fine print at the bottom of the page which resulted in my being charged $109.90 two weeks later. Return policy starts the day the order was placed….what’s up with that!!! I’m upset with this companys’ deceptive advertising and “Cheap Trick” on their return policy. This product taste terrible-like smoking motor oil-I would not recommend this product to any one. It also took me 3 days of constant calling to reach customer service and never replied to my email.

I was also charged for the owners manual, which I never received and I emailed them as soon as I opened package. 4 of my friends also returned theirs.

This is a scam. In tiny print, their free offer is actually a 14 day trial. It’s evidently 14 days after you order, not after you receive the kit. Mine took a week to arrive and they charged me the full $110 after another week even though I hadn’t had it for the 14 days. Also, you’re automatically set up for a recurring shipment of cartridges at $60+ per month unless you specifically opt out. Their customer service reps are rude and just trot out the “you signed it” line. There are better sources out there, find them. This company stinks

I ordered a “Free” trial of the electronic cigarette from Directecig.com. For the cost of shipping($4.95)you received a starter kit of the product. Nothing on the web page said anything about a 2 week trial period before they sent you the full order and charged the full price of $109.90. They buried that info in the fine print of the “terms of service”. When I called to complain they were rude and refused to allow a return for a refund.
Don’t do business with these people, they are just rude and have very poor business practices.

Number 1, I did not receive what I ordered. In trying to quit smoking, I’m already smoking a “light” cigarette and that’s what I ordered. However, what I was sent was the maximum nicotine atomizer of 16 mgs. It tasted terrible, much too strong, and the actual thing as a while was not balanced. It eventually made me sick, and I ended up putting it away.
Also, I was not aware, nor was I notified of the 14 day “trial” period of being charged $109.00. As I am on a fixed income, I feel I was scammed as it really put me in a financial mess not knowing that was going to be deducted from my account. I feel I was poisioned through this short process and would not recommend this to anyone. Bad way to do business, especially for a new company trying to market a new product.

Zero stars. I ordered the “free” trial kit and requested the ones with zero nicotine. They sent the 16 mg nicotine. It was for my daughter who wanted to try it to possibly stop smoking. No zero nicotine replacements were sent nor my email answered. We decided to send it back, but I noticed a charge of 109.95 on the same credit card I used to pay for the shipping of the “free” trial kit. I immediately contacted my credit card company and filed a dispute. I, again, emailed the company telling them no to send anymore items. Again, No response. I have returned the “free” kit and today received the other items in a very small envelope costing that cost the $109.95. I will return the envelope unopened tomorrow and again file a dispute with my credit card company. They will issue me a new card so no other charges can be placed on the card. This is a sham. Be careful if you want to opt out after the so called “trial” – it appears that to me as a set up.

Another problem with these is they have three parts…the atomizer is a separate part that must be cleaned and maintained. I bought my husband GreenSmoke electronic cigarettes and each new cartridge comes with a new atomizer built right in. Much better system. And in addition, GreenSmoke doesn’t have these sleazy business practices of making you think you’re getting a starter kit for free and only have to pay $4.95 shipping, and then turning around and billing you $109 for the kit!!!

Well, i consider them to be a thieves. They placed unauthorized charges on my credit card, and send me orders i never placed. I tried to call customer service, was placed on hold, then after some time listening to music was played a message saying that i called autside theirs bussines hours (it was monday noon EST) and to state the reason for the call and that somebody will call me back. I am still waiting. I had to cancel my credit card to get rid of them. If that is not thievery then i don’t know what is, and i don’t care for a “small print”.

From my experience with Direct e-cig I found their free trial a joke. Was billed an extra $100 two weeks after recieving the supposedly free starter kit. I was completely dissappointed with this product. They claim that one filter cartridge has the equivalent of approximately 16 cigarettes but from my experience it’s less than 2. I went through the first 10 that came with the starter kit and some of them produced little or nothing in the way of vapor. The ones that did work were spent in less than 20 puffs. When you consider you have to buy an additional vaporizor every month at $29 I conclude that this is nothing more than a money making scam. Don’t fall for it.

I do not remember reading and agreeing to any such thing, and I am typically very careful about making sure I know what I’m getting into. This seems to be nothing more than a rip off. If there was anything about a 14 day trial when I sent out my $4.95 it was not evident anywhere on the website. Exactly 14 days later I was charged 109.95 for this extremely poorly made e cigarette. If I had known of the 14 day trial I would have sent it back immediately. The battery lasts about an hour at most. The cartridges are the equivalent of about three cigarettes, or maybe that is because the battery goes dead so fast. They have not responded to my emails or telephone calls. I will be working with my bank and filing with BBB. Do not deal with these people. There are far better ecigs on the market for about a third of the cost of these cheap knock offs.

I have tried and spent a lot of money trying out at least 5 different electronic cigarettes ……and Direct E is absolutely the best!!! Unbelievable!! after 30 years of smoking 2 packages a day I am now smoking one cartride for 7 days which is equivalent to 2 packs a week!! Major reduction in smoking and all the fumes, smoke and smell that comes with it. a pack of cartridges (5) is 30.00 ….which is 10 packages of cigarette that cost me 60.00plus per week. you can be discreet while smoking because you do not have the smell. My friends now allow me to smoke in their homes…no smell. I am saving tons of money and feeling better than ever and I am even reducing my “hits”…..I LOVE this product!!

I ordered the starter kit from dirct-ecig. It was $5.00. I suggest that anyone who orders from this company read the fine print carefully. I find out 2 weeks later that my credit card has been charged $109.00 more for what they are calling a starter kit. When I called them they said that I agreed to it when I ordered. I do not recall reading any such thing, or I would not have ordered it. Previously I ordered an ecigarette from Prado for my husband at a cost of $10.00. There was no follow up charge from them.
As for the ecigarette’s performance, I find that it is not the same thing as smoking at all. I prefer cigarettes to the ecig, and now I feel that it has been a terrible waste of money. Think carefully, and read carefully folks before you buy into this new BS.

I quit smoking 3 months ago because of Direct E-cigs. I am still using the e-cig a little, but only when I drink or hanging out with friends who smoke and get cravings. I would recommend direct e-cig to help you quit smoking or just if you want to smoke inside where smoking is not allowed.
