Wu yi is a tea from a region in southern China. (from Wu Yi Shan, or Wu Yi Mountain.) Oolong is a style of partially oxidized tea between green and black teas. Wu yi is an oolong style tea. This is not "amazing" at all, it is just a tea. Wu yi happens to be a particularly fancy (and delicious) style of tea with a lot of complexity which is also quite expensive relative to other teas.

The energy you feel is caffeine.

It probably won't help you lose weight unless you just have a compulsion to be consuming something. Drinking zero Calorie tea will offset eating high-energy foods.

Wu-Yi is exactly what I needed in the mornings. It gives me the extra energy I need to get the kids up and off to school and helps me lose weight at the same time.
