One Customer Review of “Meladerm Skin Lightener”
Review by Meera March 7, 2011
I had high hopes for this product. Pretty much everything I read online sounded great. I have olive skin which scars easily and therefore have a number of brown spots on my face I wanted gone. The only things I’ve used which seemed to actually have an effect were products with hydroquinone (but it does take ages since it is unsafe to use at more effective concentrations) or Fair N’ Lovely (remarkable results, but *very* inconsistent–you can buy it 10 times and only thrice it works, plus they have *WAY* too much perfume in them).
For the money, this product *definitely* does not even get a three. I would not classify this as a skin-lightener–this is really a bogus claim. But I will say that after going ahead with 2 bottles of this stuff, I noticed that my skin had an increased tendency to heal acne scars such that the brownness would fade slightly. I think this is where many people who use the product feel it works as a skin-lightener, because it helps the scars fade–but for people like me, it will not help that much because as I said, it really is not a skin lightener.
Sorry guys.
I hope I’ve explained why there are so many great claims, at the same time it’s all just rot.
