Since I live in California I was recently thrown for a loop when the law came out that you can no longer talk on cell phones while you are driving. I am partially glad because it does make the road safer, but I would do quite a bit of talking on it to get help with directions, or find out what we needed at home when I was on my way to the store. You never know how much you would miss being able to make those quick calls from your car until you can't do it anymore. That's why I was excited when I heard about the Jupiter Jack from a friend of mine. It would allow me to talk on my cell phone while I was driving without worrying about fumbling around to get an ear piece to fit right while I am on the road.

Once I received my Jupiter Jack I was pleased with how easy it was to use. All I had to do was to plug it in to my phone and put my car stereo on 99.3. After that I was able to talk without using my hands or needing to have anything connected to my ear. The Jupiter Jack has made it a lot easier for me to talk to my family while I am driving. Now I don't have to worry about being pulled over and getting a ticket, I also know that I can focus more on the road ahead of me and I am being a safer driver.
I enjoy being able to carry on a conversation with the person that I am talking to without any worries. I am able to hear them loud and clear right through my cars speakers. I have used it with my husbands phone, as well as my children's phones. It states on the web site that you can use it with any phone and I have found this to be true for myself. If you are looking for a great way to be able to talk on your cell phone while you are driving, then you will want to make sure that you get the Jupiter Jack for yourself, it makes all the difference. I know that I have been very pleased with mine and I have been getting a lot of use out of it.

I will give it a 2.5 out of 5 it is not designed for all vehicles but will say like the other person what do you expect out of $20.00. You get what you pay for. And well not a bad gadget for the price.

Make sure you DO NOT have radio stations already on 99.3 or 101.3 in your area. In my area (north central Indiana) we have active FM stations on both frequencies and it pretty much renders Jupiter Jack useless. VERY poor choice of frequencies.

I went online to order the Jupiter Jack “Get 1 Free” website & was charged twice & charged 20.00 in shipping. I called & they didn’t have my order as it takes 48 hours for the order to process, so I was told it would be put on “hold”. I called back in 48 hours & canceled my order. The next day they processed the charge of 60.00 to my bank account & it caused two other checks to be returned & charged me return check fees. I called Jupiter Jack was told that the 60.00 would be refunded to me in 7-10 days. That was 14 days ago & I still have not gotten the refund. DO NOT ORDER THIS!!

I recently purchased two Jupiter Jacks and inserted one into my Verizon phone which I’ve had two plus years. It immediately would not work and I had to order a new phone from Verizon after they determined it was ruined by the Jupiter Jack. The two Jupiter Jacks cost $23.98 and they only offer $10.00 after return at my cost. The replacement phone is $53.00 at my cost for trying The Jupiter Jack. Beware

Unfortunately, unlike so many who have enjoyed the product I can not say the same after ordering and as you know pay up front, I have been waiting for mine for over 75 days and when I finally get through to customer care they say it takes up to six (6) weeks before delivary. Hello is there anybody home who pays attention, I paid my friends keep asking when will I receive in anticipation of trying mine before ordering. Not acceptable customer care service, starting to believe it’s a rip off.

I can deal with the inconvenience of plugging it in, turning it on, answering the phone and hitting the appropriate pre-set button on the radio. After a few calls I got the routine down. It’s sort of like sex or riding a bicycle, (neither of which I prefer to do “hands free”). But the best thing about it, IMHO, is being able to actually hear the caller.
I have severe hearing loss and HATEd having to use the damn cell. It’s (was) frustrating, aggravating, annoying and a dozen other things you don’t want to get into.
Bottom line, long and the short, skinny on this thing is: It’s GREAT! And I didn’t have to shell out 50 grand on a new car with all the latest electronic bells and whistles, most of which would go unused (as one well meaning friend suggested).
And if you can afford to put gas in the tank you can afford a GPS so you dont have to blab to someone about directions.

This item does not work, customer service hangs up on you, and what should have been a $24 invoice (including S&H) ended up $67 by the time they added “unidentified” costs. They never tell you that you have to pay S&H on the mounts for the Jupiter Jack. S&H on my invoice came to $27+ and they charged me for 2 Jupiter Jscks that were advertised as 2 for 1. My credit card company investigated this and Jupiter Jack’s response was since the shipping order showed 2 jupiter jacks were shipped, they could bill for both of them. They also don’t tell you there is a 30-day return policy. Since I bought these for a Xmas gift it was more than 30 days before we opened the present and tried it. IT DID NOT WORK – NOTHING BUT STATIC AND THEY DID NOT CARE. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!

I received my Jack last week and I love it!! I am one of those people who can’t drive and do anything else at the same time,lol. I have had quite a few accidents, but now I feel like I can talk with only moderately diminished driving ability. I am like most all drivers as I need to talk to everyone while I drive and get the latest gossip, news and trivial updates of other peoples lives. Now I drive just so I can receive calls and look like a dork talking to my dashboard,lol

The only problem I encountered is you have to always have your radio tuned to receive a call. I plugged mine into my phone but was listening to another radio station, later checked my phone and had a few missed calls. I left it plugged it into my cell phone, but turned it off, and the same thing happened. Now when I have an incoming call, I have to plug the jupiter jack into my cell phone, turn it on then tune into the radio station which is really a pain because I drive a stick shift and having a hands free unit is what I needed. All in all, the sound quality is pretty good, and what do you expect for $10.00

Recently I purchased a Jupiter Jack through the TV advertisement, buy one and get one free. I have tried it in my car and my 18 yr. old tried one in his car. Neither one of us feel it is worth the money. People I am talking to complain they can not hear me and I am going to return both for a refund. Just not worth the hassel.

I would like someone to look into this company. The web site is a trick when you try to order just the advertised item they try to push more on you and I understand that but after clicking on “no” thanks to certain extras and “submit the order”, all of a sudden the bill which should have been $20 plus shipping became over $100. Most legitimate sites I’ve ordered from will give you a preveiw of what’s in your “cart” before actually making your order complete. When I called to cancel I got a run around say they could only put the order on hold and I would have to call back in a day or two to cancel. Something must be done to stop this from happening to others!!!!!!

I brought a Jupiter Jack. It was easy to install, but it don’t work worth a dime. All you hear is static, unless you are right outside of the persons house that you are talking on the phone with. After very few feet it is useless.

What a disappointment. I bought the Jupiter Jack and found that the people to which I was talking could not hear me. Even when I talked louder almost to the point of yelling they told me I was not really coming thru. I tested this with another cell phone and the result was the same. I even went to my phone vendor and had them turn my phone volume up to the maximum. Still did not work. Trying to contact the company about returning this has been a dead end. There is no way to leave an email and the customer service number does not let you leave a message or connects you to a human being. The calls cut off after leaving you on hold for an eternity. I plan on filing a complaint with the Ohio Better Business Bureau so at least there is something to help the next person who might want to purchase this item. What a disappointment.

I ordered the Jupiter Jack and tried it in my car with my cell phone. It worked 1 time, then I lost all speaker usage on my cell phone. I could call someone, it would ring but I could not hear it ring or hear the other person answer. Then I tried it in my car again (on 99.3) and it did not work. I took my cell phone to the cell phone dealer (Verizon) and they told me the phone had indicated that the headset was on and speaker was off. They could not fix it so I had to buy a new cell phone. I got home and immediately called Jupiter Jack Customer Service to get an RMA number to return the Jupiter Jack for a full refund. I did not try to use the Jupiter Jack on the new phone for fear it would mess up the new phone. I do not recommend Jupiter Jack for anyone.

I hope the product lives up to its hype. I was taken for over $100 on the buy one get on free gimmic, you enter your credit card # up front and NEVER have a chance to confirm your order, I should have had about a 20$ charge, but when it was all said and done with the shipping and mounting kits, $107 was charged to my card, buyer beware!

I am unhappy with the online ordering process. I don’t know much about the product, because I paniced when I saw the total on my order @ $316.71. I thought I was ordering 2 units total at about $40.00 total. I called customer service emediately and asked them to cancel the order and was told they did. I talked to the same guy when I called back the next day when I saw it had been taken out of my account, but they had no record in there system. I must say this is looking more like a scam to me.If it is a legitimate business, then you should be able to make corrections on your order before it is submitted. Be ware of what you order on line and from this company.

Thanks to the September deal (Buy one Get one) I inadvertently submitted two orders. The first one for 4 (because I selected 2) and because the system never asked me to verify my order it went through successfully and without issue. After it had processed I then reached a conformation screen that showed my mistake. Thinking it was a verification screen I hit return to home page and submitted the order correctly. Knowing it was my mistake I immediately called to cancel the first order. I work in the payment card industry. I understand the process intimately. I know that after about 5 seconds at the most both of these orders not only had the authorization but the settlement listed in the Jupiter Jack system. I called Customer Support and talked to Janice. (And it begins) Janice did not have my information (even though I have the conformation emails) in her system, oh and the call center is a conglomerate managing several products, she took my information and said that she would submit a request to have the first order canceled. She also told me to call the same support number the next day for verification that my request had been completed. So I call….The first agent I talked to, had the same story (I can’t see your order in my system, 12 hours later) this time it was call back in 24 to 48 hours. (Time just got extended). I then asked if she could verify that my request of cancelation had been submitted. She then went into the whole spill again that she could not see my order. (I also work in a technical support center that has over 250,000 customers; EVERY contact is logged, over 2000 a day. So I asked to speak with her supervisor after I was told there was no other number I could call. The supervisor I got was Erin. She was rude talked over me and I had to stop her mid sentence (as she did offer to resend the request) to make sure she took the order number that I had tried to provided 3 separate times so both orders did not get canceled. I hope that if I actually get the order now that the product speaks volumes over the customer support, because the customer support just about made me want to make sure both orders got canceled.
