One Customer Review of “Photocubbie”
Review by Mad consumer September 30, 2009
DO NOT use this service! The first problem is the uploading of the photos. The bulk loader does not work at all. You have to add your pictures to your photocubbie albums & then upload them one by one to your shopping cart. This process is neither quick or easy!
The 100 free prints a month for your $16.95 a month is a joke! I uploaded 30 or 40 pictures & submitted for printing. Later that week I uploaded 20 or 30 more pictures & submitted for printing and it had a shipping charge attached to process. Apparently you have to upload all 100 pictures & submit all at once. This little bit of information is listed no where on their website!
Once you receive the pictures you will find that the quality is very poor. Some of the pictures I had printed through photocubbie I had already printed through a different online service. There is a very noticeable difference in the quality of prints I received back from photocubbie.
Today I attempted to log in to cancel my subscription. I called photocubbie customer service for assistance. The customer service was also a joke! The representative told me my subscription was cancelled due to a billing issue. I find this hard to believe since the card they had on file is the card I use to pay all my bills. Nothing else has been cancelled. When I asked her if they sent an email notifying me of this, her reply was “I don’t know”. In fact all of her replies where “I don’t know” until she placed me on hold to ask someone else. I asked her where all my pictures were that I had uploaded to their service. Again, she didn’t know if they had been deleted but thought I would have to register again to retrieve them. Someone is supposed to call me back in 24 hours to let me know if my pictures have been deleted.
This is the most ridiculous experience I have had from start to finish. DO NOT use photocubbie!
