Spirit of Halloween is the WORST COMPANY EVER!! Item ordered 9/23 for 2nd-Day Air. Not received by 9/29, called and checked, they said it was now on backorder until 10/15 (not told this prior!). Told it would ship that date and get to me on 10/19. On 10/16, still no tracking info, so I call again and am told it’s STILL not in stock. When asked why I was told it would be in and I’d receive by 10/19, they had no information on that!! Now being told they don’t know WHEN it will be in stock. Asked for manager to call me back, manger never did!!! DO NOT USE THIS STORE! I RECOMMEND YOU TELL EVERYONE TO STAY AWAY!!

Great for what you can fully try in store. I returned black light spotlights that did not work with anything black light reactive. Lots of hassle despite supposed 100% satisfaction guarantee, but they did take them back. The glow in the dark nail polish did not glow and began to peel off within a few minutes of playing with my kiddos. While I wouldn’t buy anything else there that I can’t try in the store, the costume selection is very impressive (and can be tried on), and the spooky displays make the store an attraction for my kids. Prices aren’t as good as other local alternatives for the part of their inventory that’s available elsewhere.

I purchased an outfit at one Spirit Halloween store for $19.00. It was too small so I took it to another Spirit Halloween store to exchange and found the same outfit was $14.99. I was told they would exchange the outfit but I was out of luck for the $5.00 overcharge from the other store. There was nothing they could or would do about it. What kind of a scam is this? I would not recommend these stores and most certainly will never purchase another thing from them.
