I love the oven when it worked (Secura Turbo Oven), but within a few days, I discovered a design flaw with my version of it and I will be returning it under the 30 return policy. The cord that connects into the housing unit where the halogen system is does not fit properly and several times I smelled something funny, but then it emmitted black and gray smoke from the unit. I called the day before about this to see if there had been a recall and the person I spoke to at the Secura Turbo Oven Customer Service line seemed quite disinterested, but agreed that I could send it back to be examined and either fixed or replaced, but I decided today to return it for a refund because I do not want to take another chance. I used this to replace my NuWave Oven, but I am going back to it. I give it two stars only because when it did work on several occasions before the gray and black smoke and my turning off the power by unplugging it immediately, it was superior, almost perfect compared to the Nuwave, but I would prefer the one that doesn’t have the potential to catch on fire! I’ll let you know if they keep their word on the refund.
