I like to keep tabs on my credit reports, and Credit Report America really streamlined everything for me. I'll never search for those "free credit reports" again.
All the talk about having a good credit report has me paranoid about my own credit all the time. I've actually had friends that just cannot get a house because of either some silly mistake or identity theft that they never found out about. So, usually, when the fear of having a bad credit report I would go and search for one of those free credit reports. But they always seemed to be either scams or they didn’t give me what I wanted -- my credit score.
I can't tell you how many annoying E-mails I get every day from the countless, crummy free credit reports asking me to pay them for the rest of the credit report they promised me, ugh. I really don't know how they can get away with it.
So, once while cleaning up my ugly inbox, I saw an ad for CreditReportAmerica.com on TV. You know I'm a sucker for that infomercial stuff, but I had never seen an As Seen on TV credit report, so I decided to check it out.
It does have a free credit report trial, but they never lied about the monthly fee. But I was so sick of trying to find a credit report when I wanted, I can just look it up whenever I want. It's really nice because I can check all three credit unions (TransUnion, Equifax & Experian) and my credit score -- which is usually so hard to find.
So go sign up for CreditReportAmerica.com, it's saved me a ton of stress. And hey, if you really don’t like it, you can always cancel before the free trial is up.
